Reclaiming Chorus: "Lugh the Sun King"

This arrangement of "Lugh the Sun King," written in the 1980s by Reclaiming teacher Raven Moonshadow, was recorded for Reclaiming's first CD, Chants: Ritual Music.

The song is often sung at Lammas rituals (celebrated around August 2 each year) to celebrate the "wake" of the Sun King, who in some traditions is said to die on Summer Solstice (to be reborn on Winter Solstice).

You can download "Lugh the Sun King", and/or buy the Chants CD on our website. You can buy the CD as a download at CDBaby.com, and soon at iTunes.
