Videos from Solstice in the Streets 2011!

San Francisco - June 22, 2011

Here's youtube links to a 12-minute video of Solstice in the Streets 2011 edited by Katrap40 plus several shorter videos of the day by Ianman and sleuthgrrl that catch the festive tone of the day: For the Earth and the Rights of All!

Thanks to Kate for gathering these video links! If you know of others, email us!

Solstice in the Streets - the video! - by Katrap40

Teens and Puppets Dancing - by Ianman - this dance followed a skit in which corporate clones devoured a watermelon Earth outside GE's offices.

Warming the Bankers' Heart - by Ianman - the bloblike stone located outside Bank of America offices is known as the Bankers' Heart, and has been the site of many protests - but maybe none like this spontaneous hug-in.

Bank of America - by Ianman - a US UnCut action protesting unpaid corporate taxes occupied the bank lobby.

Taking it to the Streets! - by sleuthgrrl - the dancing followed a short grieving ceremony outside Chevron's offices.
